Last week ‘The Princess Diaries’ star showed up to support Natalie Portman’s new venture- the behind-the-scenes entertainment industry Web site MakingOf.com- at Tribeca’s Marble House.

It is believed that Portman was first considered for the role in Judy Garland’s biopic ‘Get Happy’, which finally went to Hathaway, thus sowing the seeds of an alleged rift between the two beauties.

“There’s buzz in Hollywood that Natalie should have gotten the part [in the Judy Garland biopic "Get Happy"] that Anne landed,” The New York Daily News quoted an industry insider as saying.

“Anne wanted to pay her respects and make sure there was no bad blood,” said the source.

And Hathaway toasted Portman with a glass of Moet at the bash.

Winners of the 2009 Prism Awards have been announced Thursday, April 23, at the Beverly Hills Hotel and "Rachel Getting Married" topped the feature film category, grabbing two kudos presented by the nonprofit Entertainment Industries Council. The Jonathan Demme-directed drama has nabbed Best Film prize as well as Best Performance in a Feature Film for its leading lady, Anne Hathaway.

For the Best Film title, "Rachel" beat out strong contender, award season favorite "The Wrestler", among two other nominees, "Bigger, Stronger, Faster" and "Finding Amanda". Meanwhile, Hathaway who has been nominated for Oscar and Golden Globe for this recovering alcoholic role triumphed over Matthew Broderick, Ryan Phillippe, Brittany Snow and even Mickey Rourke.

Honoring film and television projects that depict mental-health and substance abuse issues, Prism Awards also hailed "Stop-Loss" as Best Feature Film - Mental Health. This war drama movie from director Kimberly Peirce overshadowed the three other nominees, "The Black Balloon", "Disfigured" and "Gardens of the Night".

FX Network, which has aired the PRISMs for the last five years, has set the air date for TV special for September 26 to coincide with National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month.

Anne Hathaway has revealed that she believes true loves exists and her ‘prince charming’ is out somewhere.

The ‘Devil Wears Prada’ star had parted ways with Italian real estate developer Raffaello Follieri last year after he was arrested on fraud charges.

But that has not stopped the actress, who is now involved with actor Adam Shulman, from waiting for her “prince charming”, reports the China Daily.

She said: “I think the perfect partner exists, of course I believe so. I know he’s somewhere.

“My prince charming is kind, patient, has a sense of humour and rescues me from the dizzy, frenetic, fast-paced rhythm of this life.”

Anne further confessed that despite her Hollywood success she was still not used to the attention and glamor.

She added: “The Venice Film Festival was a wonderful moment for me. At these events, I always feel like a little girl playing dress-up. I kept expecting that at any moment, someone would come up to me and say, ‘How did you get in here?’ and throw me out.”

First look into Anne Hathaway's character in "The Simpsons" are available through two sneak peeks. In "The Good, the Sad and the Drugly", Hathaway plays Jenny who is the love interest of Bart and an 11-year-old volunteer at Grampa's retirement home.

When Bart and Milhouse pull off a prank at Springfield Elementary, Milhouse takes the fall and gets suspended from school. Homer forces Bart to sign in under Homer's name and visit Grampa at his retirement home, and Bart soon becomes smitten with Jenny.

Hoping to impress Jenny, Bart offers to volunteer at the home. But as Bart and Jenny's relationship progresses, Milhouse emerges from his suspension and is less than thrilled about Bart turning his back on him for a girl.

Hathaway described to E! the experience of recording the voice of Jenny, saying "I grew up watching it with my brothers, and it stuck with me...high school, college, post, everything. I always stop whenever it's on. And when I found out they wanted me to come and do a voice, I flipped out. It might be one of the most if not the most exciting thing that's ever happened to me."

Also in the April 19 episode, Lisa does a report on what Springfield will look like in 50 years and becomes very depressed at the dreary outlook. A concerned Marge takes Lisa to a psychiatrist who diagnoses Lisa with Environment-Related Despair and puts on her on an antidepressant to cure her eco-blues.

While Minnelli has no issues with Anne Hathaway playing her mother’s character in the flick, she wants that apart from the drug addiction, her mother’s talent and virtues should be highlighted in the flick.

"Well, I love Anne Hathaway. And I hope that it’s a good movie and I hope that it’s true," the Daily Express quoted Minnelli as telling Canada’s City TV.

"You know, that they don’t just concentrate on the crap like they usually do," she added.

Minnelli said that people always ended up talking just about her late mother’s problem’s, and forgot to talk about real facts like her doting mother quality and how wonderful she was as a human being.

"(I hope) that they talk about her the way she should be talked about which was she was a fabulous entertainer, a great mother and just a wonderful human being," Minnelli added.
